Give her a place to heal.
Hope Ranch brings women and children out of sex trafficking and domestic violence into a self-sustaining Christian community, where healing grows through plant and animal therapy.
Liberty to the captives
“He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”
Isaiah 61:1
Hope Ranch is a Christian ministry of Overflowing Rivers. We get women and children out of sex trafficking and domestic violence, and give them a place to recover: a self-sustaining community on the land, where healing comes through working with plants and animals, and through faith in Christ.
How healing grows
Recovery at Hope Ranch is lived, not lectured. Four things hold it together.
Plants
Gardens to plant, tend, and harvest. Slow work with living things gives the day a shape, and shows season by season that what is cared for grows.
Animals
Animals to feed, groom, and look after. They ask for gentleness and give back trust, without asking anyone to explain themselves.
Community
A community that grows and makes much of what it needs, where everyone’s work matters and no one is a guest in their own recovery.
Faith
Christ at the centre: prayer, Scripture, and the promise of Isaiah 61 that they will be called trees of righteousness.
“To give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord.”
Isaiah 61:3
Why Hope Ranch exists
Hope Ranch began with a calling, not a plan: that women and children brought out of sex trafficking and domestic violence should have somewhere safe to go.
Too many leave with nowhere to land. A night’s shelter ends, and the danger often doesn’t. We believe God means more for them than survival: a home on the land, where the days hold work and rest, where a garden answers care and an animal waits to be fed, where people pray with them and stay.
That is the vision. A place set apart and kept safe, where beauty grows back out of ashes.
Stand with her
A monthly gift is the steadiest way to help. It lets Hope Ranch keep a safe place ready for the next woman or child who needs one.
Choose monthly or one time. Every gift counts.
